Pursuant to the Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act, Ventures Endurance Events, LLC f/k/a Rugged Races LLC (“Ventures Endurance”) retention and destruction policy for biometric information is as follows: Ventures Endurance obtains, uses and stores facial scans and associated biometric identifiers and information from customers via its website (“site”) for the purpose of identifying individuals in certain images. The biometric information is retained for as long as the customer uses the privileges and the company needs the facial scans for collection purposes. The facial scans are permanently destroyed no later than three years after a customer last uses the site unless a longer retention period is required by subpoena, warrant, court order or other legal requirement.
